Alpha Class

Alpha has been a part of PCTR’s life for the past five years.

This program gives individuals the opportunity to explore the meaning of life. It includes a short video presentation by Pastor Nicky Gumbel, currently the Vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton church in London, and the founder of the Alpha course, which is used world-wide. Small group discussions will be led by Bill Gould, Bill Pabst and Nadia Herman, and presentations and follow-up led by Pat Grill.

Whether you are new to the Christian faith, or have been studying the Bible for a long time – this is an eye-opening, faith building and challenging look at Jesus, the Holy Spirit, prayer, faith, healing and the Church! Rev. Gumbel asks: “Is there more to life than this?” Then he helps us to see why and how we should read the Bible, how God guides us, how we can be filled with the Holy Spirit, how we can resist evil, and how we can make the most of the rest of our lives.
