Humanitarian Crisis Response

In the face of humanitarian crises around us, the PCTR Deacons are asking you to join them in responding in tangible ways to bring hospitality and comfort to those in need. These efforts will support those in need such as refugees at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and those impacted by Ida.

You can help by:

  • Donate needed items (see lists below, current as of September 9th and subject to change over time). Bring these to PCTR’s Welcome Center by September 19th.
  • Donate money by writing a check to “PCTR” and writing “Humanitarian Crisis Response” in the memo line.

The following is a list of items identified as “urgently needed

  • Strollers
  • Car seats
  • Crocs for kids
  • Tylenol for infants, children, and adults
  • Advil
  • Cepacol lozenges
  • Creams and ointments

Following is a list of items identified as “immediate needs“:

  • Traditional Bras (New-All sizes)
  • Underwear (New-All sizes–men, women and kids)
  • Kids clothing (All sizes)
  • Shoes (All-All Sizes)
  • Onesies
  • Disinfectant Wipes
  • Antibacterial Hand Soap
  • Towels 

Here’s another list designated “continual needs“:

  • Clothing (clean & serviceable):  Men & women: L & M
  • T-shirts & pants
  • Sleepwear for all ages
  • Toiletries (soap/toothpaste/toothbrush/shampoo)
  • Shower shoes/flip flops
  • Baby wipes
  • Feminine hygiene products (pads not tampons)
  • Baby formula
  • Phone chargers (lighting, micro usb, usb-c)
  • Gatorade
  • Kids Toys

Donations may be delivered to PCTR’s Welcome Center on the following schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 10AM to 4 pm
  • During weekend worship services (Saturday 4 to 6pm; Sunday 9am to noon)
