Believe: Living the Story of the Bible to Become Like Jesus Editor: Randy Frazee

Grounded in carefully selected Scripture, Believe, NIV is a unique spiritual growth experience that takes us on a journey to think, act, and be more like Jesus.  As we journey through this Bible as a small group, one simple truth will become undeniably clear: what we believe drives everything.

Everyone is welcome!

Join us on Monday evenings for a time that includes large group time, Bible study, discovery questions, and small group discussion. This is a great time for learning more about living out our faith.

STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2019.
MEETING EVERY OTHER THURSDAY EVENING FROM 6:30 P.M. IN THE MISSION ROOM

Using What Happens When Women Say Yes to God by Lysa Terkeurst, we will spend time in discussion and prayer.  If you have ever wondered… what is God’s plan for my life? Or Can He really use me? You’re not alone. Through the author’s struggles and doubts, she sets out to equip us to: discover the incredible opportunities God’s already placed in front of us and the courage to say yes;  learn practical ways to listen for God’s voice; and see that our Christian life is about perfect surrender, not perfect performance.

This Women’s group will focus on keeping each other in prayer.  It is a Bible study support group with an emphasis on praying for each other.

All women are welcome!

STARTING soon! Contact the church office for details about our first session of 2020!
We’re starting our next set of Financial Peace classes and here’s why YOU will want to attend: our previous participants collectively reduced their debut by nearly $70,000!  Are you in?  You’ll attend 9 classes starting later in January. Call or email us at 732-349-1331 or [email protected] with questions or for information on how to register.
STARTING OCTOBER 18, 2019
THE THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH (OCTOBER THROUGH MAY) MEETING FROM 7:00 – 8:30 P.M.

Come and meet other Christian couples as together we spend a great night of studying and learning, of visiting, sharing, and snacking!  This year we’ll be studying, “Eternity Is Now in Session: A Radical Rediscovery of What Jesus Really Taught about Salvation, Eternity, and Getting to the Good Place” by John Ortberg

This is a journey to discover what it really means to be “saved.” For Christians, perhaps the deepest expression of what we’re waiting for is found in the phrase “eternal life.” But what is eternal life? Why do we want it? And how do we know if we have it?

What would it mean to consider the Ten Commandments not as a harsh list of what not to do but, instead, as a “love letter” from a loving God? Our Presbyterian Women (PW) Circles will be exploring that question through-out the year as part of this year’s study: “Love Carved In Stone.”  All women of the church are members of the Presbyterian Women Association and are heartily welcome to attend all events. We invite you to join one of our nine Circles for study and prayer.

“4P” Men’s Discipleship Training seeks to develop Christian leaders and to build lasting friendships among 3-4 other men who commit to personal growth and Christian discipleship. Each group will examine what it means to have a personal progressive commitment

  • to Jesus Christ
  • to Yourself
  • to Relationships
  • to the work of Christ in the world.

The 4P Discipleship Training is intended to respond to the Great Commission: “Make disciples of all men.”
