Our September Sermon Series: Invitations From and To Jesus
Jesus invites us to follow Him and then we invite others to follow Him a well. The vocation of a disciple is to make disciples of Jesus.
Starting in October, the Sermon Series will be based on the theme: “God’s Story, Our Story, My Story.”
We will be using the chapters in The Story as our guide, beginning with Creation in Genesis – going through the Bible – and culminating with Heaven in Revelation.
Come once – or come every week! Bring a friend!

Guardrails: Avoiding Regrets in Your Life
By: Andy Stanley
In this small group Bible study, Andy Stanley challenges us to stop flirting with disaster and establish personal guardrails.
Guardrails. They’re everywhere, but they don’t really get much attention … until somebody hits one. And then, more often than not, it is a lifesaver.
Ever wonder what it would be like to have guardrails in other areas of your life-areas where culture baits you to the edge of disaster and then chastises you when you step across the line? Your friendships. Your finances. Your parenting. Your marriage. Maybe your greatest regret could have been avoided if you had established guardrails. In this video-based small group bible study, Andy Stanley challenges us to stop flirting with disaster and establish some personal guardrails.

Unshakable Hope: Building Our Lives on the Promises of God
By: Max Lucado
What is shaking in your world?
Possibly your future, your faith, your family, or finances?
It’s a shaky world out there.
We’ve never been more educated and entertained. We have technological tools our parents could only dream of, and we are saturated with information, amusement, and recreation. Yet more than ever, we are starving for hope. School shootings are all too familiar. Depression is on the rise. And more people than ever are orchestrating their own deaths. In America alone, the suicide rate has increased 24 percent in fewer than twenty years. If a disease saw such a spike, it would be deemed an epidemic.
People are dying from a lack of hope.
In Unshakable Hope: Building Our Lives on the Promises of God, pastor and New York Times bestselling author Max Lucado offers encouraging guidance for overcoming sadness and despair, renewing a sense of purpose, and triumphantly facing the fears of the future.
In a world full of despair, depression, anxiety, and instability, we do not need more opinions or hunches; we need the definitive declarations of our mighty and loving God.
Unshakable Hope examines twelve of God’s promises – Each chapter explores one significant promise and reveals how it will equip you to:
- Overcome challenging circumstances
- Live through sadness and renew hope
- Experience lasting security
- Make wise decisions
What is your life built on—the circumstances of life or the promises of God? The answer to that question changes everything. For every problem in life, God has given you a promise.
Join us as we take a closer look at Scripture’s unbreakable promises and see how to live with an unshakable hope.
