This Week at PCTR

This fall we’re not just going to talk about what it looks like to Go & Serve, we’re going to do it together! Starting September 25th, join a 6-week group to be equipped to serve. Groups will also make a plan to show our community the love of Jesus by serving together in early November. This is an opportunity to put the message of Jesus’ love into action by boldly living into our call to care for and serve people. You can register for this church-wide, group service opportunity by visiting the Welcome Center this weekend or online at

Small groups kick-off for students grades 6-12 on 9/25 and for families on 9/29 & 9/30. KidMin Tuesday resumes on 9/26. Other Go & Serve groups begin throughout the week.

Curious about what it means to be a member at PCTR? Come find out at our next New Members’ Gathering. At the end of this 3 part class, you’ll have the opportunity to join the church as a member. Sessions will take place on Saturday evenings after worship on the following schedule: October 7, 14 and 21 at about 6:15 pm. Childcare is available for kids over 1 year old. Register online at or call the church office at 732-349-1331.

Kids Choir
is tuning up for a new year of music and song together! Kids in grades K-5th are invited to join us on October 1 from 9:45 – 10:15 am in the Creation Room. Warm up your voices and come make some music with us!

Like Christmas music? If so, consider singing in this year’s Christmas Joy Concert!  We will have a kickoff rehearsal for concert music on Thursday, September 21 from 7:00-8:30 in the Large Rehearsal Room.  Then, rehearsals continue weekly from 7:45-8:30.  This is a great opportunity to see what singing with a choir is like for the first time or the first time in a long time.

Grab your tickets for The Hope Center’s 10th Annual “Feast of Hope” Chef’s Night held October 16th from 6 – 9pm! The evening will feature over 20 local food establishments with samples of their finest dishes in addition to live entertainment, raffles and giveaways! Proceeds support the work of the Hope Center. You can grab your tickets at

GriefShare is a weekly seminar and support group for people grieving the death of a loved one. A new 13-week session will begin on September 12th at 10am and will continue to meet weekly on Tuesday mornings.
