Beach Baptism/Reaffirmation

On August 17, we will have a unique opportunity on the beach in Seaside Park for those wishing to be baptized or to reaffirm their baptism. Bring a towel (you will be in the ocean & getting wet!) and a chair, if you’d like one. Join us at the L Street beach entrance. (If you have not been baptized before, register at pctr.org/beachbaptism so we can schedule a time for you to meet with a pastor before 8/17.)

Summer Choir

Whether you sing every week in a choir or only sing in the shower, Summer Choir is for you! We will hold one rehearsal on July 16 and have three opportunities to sing. Music will be accessible and fun to sing. (We’re singing in worship on July 20, July 27 and August 3 at the 9:30 am worship service.)

Sunrise Easter Worship

Meet us at Huddy Park on the river in downtown Toms River for this special early morning Easter service. Dress for the weather and bring a chair or blanket to sit on if you wish. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend to watch the sunrise over the river and attend worship with you.

Good Friday Experience

Travel through the last hours of Jesus’ life and reflect on his death and sacrifice through this tactile, self-guided experience in our sanctuary. Stop by any time between 9 am and 1 pm on April 18 and take as long as you need to work your way through each prayer station.

Maundy Thursday Worship

At this somber worship service, we remember the Last Supper and read through the scripture detailing the final days of Christ’s life from the Passover meal to his death on the cross. Join us for this unique and moving candlelight service on Thursday, April 17 at 7 pm.

Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday we remember the fanfare and jubilant welcome of Jesus as he rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey for Passover. Just days later he’d be arrested, tried, crucified, and buried by the same crowd. Join us for worship at our regular service times: Saturday, 5 pm (Contemporary Worship), Sunday, 9:30 am (Traditional Worship), or Sunday, 10:30 am (Contemporary Worship.)

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the start of the Lenten season, a time to prepare for Easter Sunday. It is a time for confession and repentance. Join us for worship on Wednesday, March 5 at either 12 pm or 7 pm.

Celebrating Freedom! Worship & Lunch

We are now confident that our mortgage debt will be paid IN FULL by Thanksgiving and we want to celebrate with you the way God’s been at work in our midst across the Freedom campaign. Join us on November 24 at 10 am for worship to celebrate FREEDOM with great joy and gratitude. Stay for a delicious catered lunch and continued festivities! (Please note, there is only one worship service this weekend.)
