Gather to Worship

Gathering to worship is one way we connect to full life in Jesus Christ. Worship is more than listening to a weekly message. It’s more than showing up for a service on a weekend. Gathering to worship is an essential part of our identity as the people of God. It’s a foundational piece of the life of the church.

Have you ever said, “Can’t I worship on my own?” You can. Worship is about giving God the glory and honor. It’s about expressing our awe, gratitude, and devotion. It’s about showing God how valuable He is to us.  And it is something we do daily. We are made to worship!

So, can we do that alone? Yes, and we are made to come together as the gathering of believers to worship God. Together, there is a sense of wonder, delight, and belonging that we can’t accomplish on our own. It’s like a snowball growing bigger as it goes; we get drawn into the presence of God and get caught up in the joy and privilege of worshiping Him.
